It may not be the most eye-catching choice on a specification sheet, but it is a bike you will still want to ride for years to come.
M3 is high-performance seamless tubing developed by RIKULAU using S32205 duplex stainless steel. First introduced in Sweden in the 1930s, duplex stainless steel combines two metallurgical phases, austenite and ferrite, to deliver high strength, excellent corrosion resistance, and outstanding fatigue resistance. These qualities make it widely used in demanding applications such as marine engineering, chemical processing equipment, and pressure vessels.
Compared with conventional austenitic stainless steel, M3 offers tensile strength of approximately 1100 MPa and significantly greater corrosion resistance than common 304 and 316 stainless steels. It combines stiffness, durability, and reliability with a ride character distinctly different from traditional steel.
M3 was not created to build the lightest or fastest race bike. Its purpose is lasting dependability on long journeys and in demanding conditions.
